Educational Benefits of Joining the National Guild of Hypnotists

New York City resident Joshua Dietz spent nearly a decade as a therapist and university lecturer before becoming a sales representative for Tax Defender in 2020. Joshua Dietz supplemented his professional efforts with memberships in groups such as the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), a professional organization devoted to advancing the field of hypnotism.
Since its inception in 1950, NGH has grown to 15,000 members with 100 chapters spanning 73 countries. These professionals come from various fields in addition to psychology, such as medicine, counseling, and nursing. All members have access to educational resources through NGH, including a range of seminars and conferences throughout the year. Members also gain access to NGH publications such as the Hypno-Gram newsletter and the NGH quarterly Journal of Hypnotism.
In addition to these resources, NGH offers diverse courses that count for credit toward certification. The minimum requirement for hypnotism certification is two semesters of course work, and for those with active certification, a minimum of 15 hours of continuing education each year are required to maintain status.
